LA MARIA

Approximately 115 years ago, La Maria farm was colonized by Luz Marina’s family;
this family was looking for uninhabited land in the deep forest of Risaralda region and found in this fertile land a place to live.
Since then, the lands have been cultivated in coffee and banana trees. The coffee plantation has been the principal economic activity to support three generations of the family. La Maria farm has privileged weather conditions, but in addition to this, Luz Marina has worked hard to improve and perfection her agricultural practices, which has resulted in a sweet and balanced coffee.
