"Excellentia"

Jailer Trujillo is a native of Planadas Tolima, proud of his peasant origin, he watches over the well-being of his family and his community. His household is made up of his wife and two children, whom he involves in all the decisions and daily activities. In 2014, together with his wife, they decided to acquire the La Esperanza farm and practice this profession for life.
A couple of years ago they decided to produce the entire crop and obtain Natural Coffee (dried with the husk). As part of his Adventist belief and above all respect for the environment that he professes, he no longer pulps the coffee cherries, saving thousands of liters of water that usually ended up in river basins contaminated with leachate waste, since then it has become unnecessary. the use of the mill and now ferments the coffee in bags and dries it in canopies directly in the sun.
The La Esperanza farm has an extension of 2 hectares and is divided into 3 lots where it grows different varieties of coffee: Tabi, Gesha, Pink Bourbon, Cenicafe, Castillo, San Bernardo. In the 2022 harvest, it had a production of 20,000 kilos of Natural Coffee in dry husk.
